Finca accomodation  “Rocha’s House” at wine & food camp

Located just 40 minutes by car from Lisbon airport, our private traditional stylish Portugese Finca , the cosy “Rocha’s House” is surrounded by six hectares of  private property land and vineyards

Our “base camp” offers total seclusion, close to the nearby village of Poceirao, 20 minutes from the picturesque port town of Setubal and the Arrábida nature reserve, north of the sado estuary, where the river Sado joins the Atlantic Ocean.

Six authentically furnished stylish double rooms each with an en suite bath/WC offer our guests the perfect balance of  luxury and traditional Portugese country-style. The rooms spread  over ground floor and top floor story. and offer space to  retire to privacy.. Most of the stylish furnitures date back to the Victorian era.  “Rocha’s House” offers two covered spacious terraces for shade and retreat.

The core of the Finca is its large kitchen with traditional dining room integrated in the  cozy, stylish  and spacious living room area with Portugese marble floor, complete with a twelve-seater table and a lounge with an open fireplace.

The center of the camp in the outdoor area of the Finca is the pool with a BBQ hut, wood-fired stone oven and outdoor toilet facilities.

All lunch and evening meals are staged as a workshop on an open wood fire by the pool in between orange trees.  which also supply their handpicked and sugar sweet fruits for the  poolside breakfast table in the morning..

Internet access/Wi-Fi is available throughout the Finca.
